Anne Filson and Gary Rohrbacher, the principles of the Design Firm AtFab and the creators of the innovative furnishings for digital fabrication that we have featured on the 100kGarages.com home page, are being noticed. Their appreciation of digital design and fabrication as well as distributed manufacturing is increasingly regarded as a model of future business development and as a way to restore good work to our communities. This is the 100kGarages model. It is encouraging to see it being recognized – and reinforced because of the examples of interesting work that can be produced by the system.
